It seems i have been selected by the UN and the World Bank to be the caretaker of about $300,000 seized from a scam in Liberia. If i let them transfer the money to me, i get to keep 45% of it, thats a smooth $135,000!!!

I always got a kick out of people falling for this crap, but i think this one is absolutely legitimate. If it says United Nations and World Bank, it has to be true, right?:whistling:

I got an e-mail somewhat similar to that one a couple of months ago. It had scam written all over it.

That is so lame. But on a serious note, I received an email saying a "hit" had been placed on me but the guy would not execute the "hit" if I was willing to pay him more than what he was being offered to off me. I am so thankful that guy gave me the opportunity to get out of that situation.

what makes you guys think these are scams. you all think you're so smart. just wait until some sly shyster tricks you 2 or 3 times. It's not funny.

these guys take those emails and actually turn it around on the scammers. Some pretty funny reading if you have time

I have a friend who is a racing enthusiast. He surfs car reselling sites looking for good deals and when he comes across obvious scams, he screws with them. He forwards the email traffic to us. Hilarious stuff.
