Dear UNC,
Let me first state that I hate you. I do respect you, but I definitely hate you. I hate your "Carolina" Blue uniforms and your attempt to wear Navy Blue. I hate your joke of a football stadium, that most people need a GPS to find bc it's hidden in a pine forest. I hate that your fans think Kenan is cool or intimidating because someone said it was college football's " Most Beautiful Setting". I hate that because you're filling in your horseshoe and expanding from about 60,000 to 63 you think it will affect recruiting. I hate that your stadium is blinding to most people during game days because of all of the empty seats and the shining aluminum. I hate the fact that you pretend to be a "Football School" until November (most of the time until October). I hate the fact that you feel disrespected by thinking real "Football Schools" think you are a "Basketball School". You are not a "Football School". Period. I hate the way your PA guy says "That's a Carolina First Down" in such a way that I question his sexual orientation. I hate that even though you are excited about playing in a bowl game outside the state of North Carolina since 2001 and think it's an accomplishment, you are still *****ing about it being basically a Tennessee home game. Maybe some of you have forgotten that you have played in Charlotte the last 3 times you were in a bowl. You lost those 3 games. I hate hearing Charles Kuralt talking about crisp October nights and the Well and the Bell and blah blah blah.
I hate that you have complained all year about "what could've been" when it was your own fault all along. I hate that you think you are quite possibly the best 7-5 team of all time. "If Marvin Austin, Quinn and Greg Little didn't break the rules we would've won the ACC, we would be so good". STFU... I hate how you think you are the best team in the state when you haven't beaten NC State in 4 years. I hate how you constantly throw around the "The Carolina Way" as a way to justify your arrogance and superiority complex towards just about every other public institution in the country, yet these past couple of months have really shown how the "The Carolina Way" really works. I'm sure Butch was clueless about everything that was going on in w/in the program. Has there ever been a program that has cheated and achieved less than UNC? I hate that even though you got busted for cheating, you constantly accuse the SEC of being Elite because we cheat. Could you guys really be more envious?
However, I do love...That when I ask a Tarheel fan "Who has won an ACC Football Championship more recently, Duke or UNC"? I usually get the finger or a simple "F@#$ You". Some of my best friends attended UNC and are big time UNC fans and we get along because we have a great deal of respect for one another, but I have been waiting for this for a very long time and was crushed when we cancelled the series. I cannot wait to be in Nashville, and I cannot wait to see our possibly worst team in 30 years beat one of their best in a generation. GO VOLS!!! I hope we get:loco:!
