Numbers 1,2, and 5 are spot on. Our OL has been subpar this year. Our play calling has been suspect at best and the player development is questionable to say the least. I think Shoop gets a pass but the offense has to be worked on. I still hope for an SEC Fast crown just to have it again but the result will be a rematch with alabubba.

The problem is, if Florida loses to LSU now, the sunshine pumpers will talk about how we made it to the SEC Championship game.

If course that will happen...it's great for the program and we will be a better and healthier team on a neutral field when we play bama. The team with the better SEC record will go to Atlanta...that's all that matters. It doesn't matter if an east team loses for us to get there b/c we have to take care of business for that even to be an option....which i think we can do!

I don't know how long you have followed football, or UT football, but you are basically saying we shouldn't have a right to be happy if we make it to the SECCG when for years we would pray for teams to upset florida so we can get to the SECCG and if you say you weren't one of those people then you are either a very new UT fan, a big negavol, or you are speaking opposite of the truth.

I would like to see a thread that lists all CBJ's pre-season quotes on how this season could / should play out. Not the media's... not volnation's... Coach Butch Jones's.

Seems I remember him trying to reasonably deflate the giddy expectations of the sports media. Maybe my memory's bad, but wasn't CBJ the one saying it takes at least 6 years to build the kind of depth into a team that can withstand the attrition of a season in the SEC?

Ignoring Shoop's "nobody will run on Tennessee" (which may have been a misquote--I'm thinking now he might have said "nobody will just run on Tennessee") did Jones say anything in August that has since proved untrue or misleading?
