Hello all. I moved to Knoxville this past year and I am planning on going to the UT-WKU game. I've only been to a Tennessee game once, while visiting up here from Alabama to tailgate the UAB game.

I know really nothing about UT gamedays because I didn't really do a lot of looking around when I was up last year. I have a few questions for you guys if you all do not mind.

1. How early should I arrive?

2. Where should I park?

3. I'm only 19, so obviously I can't legally drink. Just for conversations sake, what are the best bars around?

4. I don't really know anyone around. Is the bar scene the best avenue relative to meeting people on gamedays?

5. How is Vol tailgating? Any hot-spots?

Thank you guys for any feedback I receive. I'm looking forward to experiencing Neyland Stadium and hopefully meeting some Vols. I'm not a natural born UT fan but if I have a good experience I will definitely be back for every home game this season.

Damn. I just noticed a pinned thread a the top of the page that is pretty informative regarding my questions. Feel free to completely ignore this.

Buy some of those streamers from the old man across from the money wall. Throw them like a roll of toilet paper after we score.

Whatever happened to this guy- does anybody else remember?

we get to the games at 8 cause we have season tickets but if you get there any later than 10 its very hard to do anything with tail gaiting

Neyland Stadium is an AWESOME place to be on football Saturday's home games, especially when the BIG ORANGE is winning and to hear the band in the stands playing my favorite College song- "ROCKYTOP!":eek:k:
