I can honestly say that I have NO CLUE who will be starting and what it will look like for the first time in years. Quite refreshing actually.

Rico at SLB, Eric Berry at SS, Dan Williams and Wes Brown at DT, Chris Walker DE, Ben Martin DE.

Gerald Jones WR, McClendon RG, Richards LG, McNeil C.

Take those to the bank. They'll be starters

I can buy that justin. I just like the fact that no one is safe, except Berry of course. This team was in bad need for change and I had made a thread about this last year and kinda got blasted for it about competition being the ultimate decision maker and performance in practice becoming the standard for who starts. I really don't think we have had a level of practice like this is quite some time. I don't think honestly we will know 100% who the starters will be until halfway through Fall Practice and I think that's the way it should be.

That's a perfect DL for the Tampa 2. I think MLB is the most important thing the staff has left to figure out on D, since it's such a big (and complicated) part of Monte's scheme

Im just glad we dont have that same ol system in place. Dont care whos on the field as long as the players out there give us the best chance to win.

Team that pass rushing ability up with the potential lockdown ability our secondary has and our defense could be scary with the staff that is teaching them.

100%, I remember when Martin signed, the tOSU fan base went nuts asking why he would sign with UT, better chance to get to the next level at tOSU, blah, blah, blah. BM has be looking around at this new staff and really loving his choice about now.

He just made this move.

Justin, Is he looking that good already to take the spot?

I think it's more of a fill in role Jon. He isn't big enough to be an every down DT but we need help inside. I personally think he will rotate in and outside.

Marlon Walls is a DT, not LB.

Must have missed that move. Did he bulk up a TON?

*Edit* Just checked utsports...This is hard to take in. A DT at 6'2", 225? Everywhere I look he's listed as an OLB...I can understand him being a small DE, but I think he'd get hammered going up against the likes of the Pouncey twins (6'5", 320)
