what are you guys talking about? i have been wondering after reading somebody talk about it earlier. what happens to your xbox?
I agree... Microsoft has generally stepped up to the plate in helping replace 360's. I wish they were more forthcoming in what actually caused the systems to crash, and what they've been doing to remedy it. But the boxes and all have been well-executed.There have been a lot of issues with these systems, without argument. But Microsoft has really stepped up to the plate if you ask me. A 3 year warranty on a product like this is unprecedented.
The cost of this extension is over $1 billion.

I think the heat has been an issue for one. My guess though is that there have been several different hardware issues. I don't think all the systems are malfunctioning due to a single cause.I wish they were more forthcoming in what actually caused the systems to crash, and what they've been doing to remedy it.
Mine no longer reads memory cards and wireless controllers dont connect to it anymore even after calling support but dont want to ship it in for a while because of NCAA and Madden
They asked a couple questions. Then gave you some suggestions on how to fix it on your own (usually doesn't help anything). Then they will send you a box to put it in and then you just ship it off and you will get it back in a couple weeks. It is great to know if my 360 dies microsoft will take care of it, but how easy is it? Do they ask a lot of questions or does it matter when it was bought or anything?
