As we all know, yesterday Travis Henry got busted for <STRIKE>allegedly</STRIKE> being heavily involved in a cocaine ring. Naturally, one day later, we're starting to learn more and more about what happened. Or wait, we actually now know everything that happened.
Apparently, Henry was the "money guy" behind the whole ring, and interestingly, he wasn't even involved in the original arrest. He had a drug courier going to Billings, Montana to rip off another customer with three kilos of coke, two of which were nothing but drywall. Sounds delightful.
When Henry's drug courier got pulled over just outside of Billings, he instantly snitched on Henry. Why? Well, it might have something to do with the fact that Henry threatened to kill his entire family unless he came up with $40,000.
Anyway, when authorities came to his house in Denver to arrest him, Henry tried to escape on foot, but was nabbed anyway. Insert you own joke here.
Just judging by the affidavit - which
you can read in full here (no direct link, just scroll down for the link) - it would seem that Henry's not exactly all that new to this business, which, admittedly I don't exactly find all that surprising. After all, the economy's in the toilet, he doesn't have a job, and he's got
nine different child support payments to make.
But I guess he won't have to worry about any of those things anymore, because he's soon going to be going away for a long, long time.
