Must Read on Coach Gran

We already knew he was a great coach and recruiter, but this article showed us just how great of a man he is as well. With all of the adversity he's dealt with and overcome in his life, helping rebuild our football team must seem like a piece of cake. I am honored to have him on our coaching staff.

great read. proud to have him at UT. he used to be "the guy that coached Cadillac and Ronnie Brown" to me. after reading this, that is probably one of the least things to admire coach Gran about.

Great story. We should have had Coach Gran recruiting Marlon Brown. If she liked Richt for his faith then I'm sure she would have loved Eddie.

Sounds like Mr. Gran has his life in order, and has a very strong family. Some obstacles in life pull us down, but can also raise us up. It seems they have taken a tough situation and they have come out the better for it.

My hats off to you sir :hi:

Glad your a Vol!

I can only hope that other coaches on our staff will make an impact on the lives of the players like Coach Gran will.

God Bless

Much respect for Coach Gran....never knew much about him prior to this article besides his resume (and the recruits in FL he's snagged).

Thanks for posting this article.
