I know most of you like the band playing and the tradition, but the music creates such an atmosphere, Neal talked about it in an interview. Now watching the clemson Fsu game the atmosphere looks amazing with the fan shots.

I only come to about 1 game a year so of course I always love hearing the band. I've heard some every gamers say that they play the same songs over and over. I can't comment (even though I hear them on tv, I don't really pay much attention) on that but I much prefer the band and it gets me more pumped. And no. I'm not old.

From watching on tv I heard the band play quite a bit. Are they just playing music through the PA during tv timeouts? If so I don't see a big deal.

All I know is that in the 4th quarter today, the stadium was flat....everyone sitting down and very little life. Some pumped in music started and the cameras concentrated on some guy dancing like a fool (which was pretty damn funny I admit).....and the next thing you know, the place is rocking again. I have no issue with music being pumped in and the band being utilized a little less. Whatever it takes to get 'em fired up. And no. I'm not in my 20's.

Dancing fool is the DJ that plays during warm ups. I am old but nothing wrong with mixing it up. CBJ showed some love to the band after the game.

My section had multiple people groaning when they showed the extended clip of the dancing guy. The one who were up dancing are also the ones with little glass bottles at their feet.

I'm a band alumnus, I've always loved the band, and I think a band can really affect the atmosphere at a game. I do, however, like the mix that is being worked on to find a balance between the two. They really, really, really need to either upgrade the speaker system soon or turn the volume down to cut out the distortion. Is not that the music wasn't my preference (some was, much wasn't), but the equipment couldn't handle it and maintain quality output.

I love the band, but I do think that a couple of big songs should be played loud to get the players & students fired up. Or really anyone in the stadium for that matter.
