Put up a great fight for 40 minutes against a much stronger Marquette squad. 31-2 is nothing to be ashamed of.

They are no pretender. If they were a pretender, they would have pulled a Vanderbilt and lost in the first round to a mid-major.

Looks like it ended up being a little of both.

If they had a higher seed or got lucky with upsets then they could easily still be playing. I don't believe they were a serious Final Four threat though.
