Mullen said after last night's game he is staying in Starkville to coach the bulldogs. Although I was pretty sure he wasn't headed to Knoxville, it means another big coach is off the table. Currie is headed for failure, mid tier coach here we come.

FL may be upset. Sounded like Tebow wanted Mullin there when he was on ESPN this morning. He was NEVER coming to the Vols.

You think we’d go from being turned down by Mullen to pursuing guys like Gruden, Franklin, and Petersen?
You have more faith in our leadership than I do.

No one mentioned in this post is remotely looking for another job much less at Tennessee. The Luster has worn off, Jones has murdered what was left of the program. Start from scratch.

I’m pointing out that I don’t view Mullen passing on us as this ‘fantastic development’ that people are making it out to be.

The media said he was a candidate. I have not seen anything concrete to show we offered Mullen. He DID NOT turn down UT.

He didn't say the magic words. "I am not a candidate for the Tennessee job."

Until people start saying that they are still in contention.
