I can't believe I'd ever say this but I'm going with Kiffin. I really like Mullen but if Kiffin a mature Kiffin can win big. Maybe it's time to kiss and makeup.

I wish I could quit you Lane.

Kiffin wants to come back home. He knows he screwed up and I think he would do just about anything for a second chance.

Lane Kiffin would be an embarrassment. Besides being a complete ass, he couldn't even win big with Carrol's players. Mullen is a good head coach and a great QB developer. Mullen could win an east title every 3 years. Kiffin would have us under NCAA sanctions in no time.

Yeah, but he would be our ass and that would be much more entertaining as he would troll both Saben and Kirby.

Not my first choice mind you but he would be my 5 th choice at worst.

Lame tried to turn us into USC South. Fapizzled on our traditions. That above anything else is the reason that POS better not be our coach.

Mullen ... meh... not the impact I want. We need big time. Mullen feels like a bologna sammich

Mullen all day.

Kiffy doesn't have any morals. I still remember how he left us and tried to keep the recruits from enrolling in class.

Freshwater’s head coaching resume is average at best. Mullen has achieved more at a dumpster program than any coach that preceded him at that school. Mullen and it’s not even close.

Wait, what are we deciding on one of them for? PR guy? That would be Kiffy. Guy we offer a HC job to? Shut down the football program if that's the best you can do.

Kiffin leads on Twitter. What say you, Volnation?

Something I wrote after reading an article about Kelly, Frost going elsewhere, Mullen staying put and Gruden saying no...

What the UCLA job opening means for Tennessee - Rocky Top Talk

Hate to say it, but if all of his worries pan out, Kiffin is the guy. I don’t like him leaving FAU so early but let’s face it, he did in one season return FAU (so far) to the top of its conference. He could promote someone within his staff and leave that staff there and come here. I think his departure hurt this program more than anything. Who would have ever thought we had a program that any coach would walk away from for any program in one year after almost beating Bama to. Since then, it’s always been a B list of coaches and if this writer’s worries pan out, there are very few left that I would put on an A list. If Mullen isn’t coming here, neither is Patterson. Albeit we do have a different AD going for us and from what I hear much more financial willingness. Still, you have to look at people that want to come here and Kiffin is wooing us. We may need to swallow our pride. He has swallowed his only as much as I would hope for him too and may be the last of available coaches that are willing to come here that belong on an A list. He may be the most willing. The good news is that he may be the most capable and he is young enough to stay here for a long time. What a storyline, a coach who erased the stain on a school and his own reputation while restoring a program to national prominence meanwhile dawgstomping and elephant herding his former coworker and mentor respectably (Kirby and Saban). Boy, Fulmer would be the ultimate role model for forgiveness by not only accepting and supporting Currie but also Kiffin. Kiffin and Currie reunited? I’m sure Currie felt that burn too. Insert edit, Kiffin’s son was named Knox.
This would be such a good story if it all panned out. I wasn’t for Kiffin before with the list we “had”, but it makes a lot of sense and there are so many stories here that were once bad that could become good. The media would love it. Our fans would love having an offense again and I bet you anything Kiffin retains shoop and that shoopfense performs because they aren’t on the field all game long.
