'26 MS WR Tristen Keys (lsu commit)

You just have to speak Negavol. Since many of those players have not played considerable time yet (because they were freshmen), they are automatically deemed to be worthless busts that are a waste of a slot on the team roster.

These guys act like if wide receivers aren't on the field that had huge production last year, then every pass thrown this year will fail to be completed.

They fail to realize that our QB will likely pass for 3,000 yards minimum. Those yards and completions will be divided amongst whatever receivers are on the field no matter what they did or didn't do last year.
Not that I’m a Hugh Freeze fan, but I heard him talking the other day about the WR position being developmental and it’s difficult and rare for guys to contribute first year. Said they make a big leap from year 1 to year 2. DK Metcalf and Van Jefferson redshirted for him

Truth is there's a reason why kid cant commit to us despite loving Tennessee. Cant deny that.
He's currently committed to LSU. He's still trending away from LSU, he just hasn't yet made that formal. What makes you think he can't commit to Tennessee? I'm sure there is no rush. He has a position.

AP thinks it's more likely we land Hiter than Keys. I would say that is not good news
Just basing it off what is being said.

My org wording was he's had every opportunity to commit to us. He still might, and I hope he does. At this point however, where we lead, then didnt, then were in a good position after the OV, coupled with AP's comments. I'm saying he's had every opportunity to commit to us. But that there must be something we arent providing he sees elsewhere. Hence he seems like he just cant commit to us.

But what you're saying is also true. He has a position. And that makes sense.

Either way, WR is a big position of need this cycle. If we dont get him, hope we go big in the porthole.
