Yeah he didn’t give Heupel a chance, but Ty was going to Bama at that point regardless. Yes there was some sore feelings on the FU TD at Knoxville but I still doubt there’s resentment at this point. I doubt seriously this has any effect on recruiting any other westview player. I also doubt very seriously it will effect where Graham Simpson lands although it may not be Tennessee.
Oh I do, elder Simpson is a little bitc*. So it might not affect any other Westview player since he’s not in charge there, but I don’t see Graham giving us the time of day either and I think Graham is the better QB compared to Ty. Maybe Ty goes to Bama either way, but elder Simpson made sure he was never going to UT.

Is he not considering Ole Miss, are they not recruiting him? Do not see them listed.

He seems to really love UT. Will be interesting to see what happens if he wants in the class before DGG.

Getting both would be incredible but just wonder how realistic it is to land two top 5 backs in the NIL era.
I think you underestimate just how much we have to spend now with the adidas deal. Revenue sharing will give us around 20-22M annually, I would imagine 2/3 to 3/4 of the 20M from adidas will go to football 13-15M. Plus talent fees and whatever spyre and the volunteer club generates will (let’s just say 8-10M conservatively). That’s close to 35-40M in NIL for football alone

Maybe even 3
Unless we lose someone, I can't see adding 3 RBs. There's a small chance you have Bishop back. If Morris, Baker, Gordon, Rajecki all return and you add two guys like DGG and Tyson Robinson, you aren't likely to need another guy. That is 6 guys, minimum.

In this era, how likely is it we lose no one from the room?

Oh, certainly. I'm just saying 3 backs in one class is a lot. I think we'd have to lose Bishop and at least one more. We took 3 last year, so it isn't unprecedented. Just tough to assume we lose anyone, even if it is likely. A 3rd back will likely be a lower-level late addition like Rajecki, I'd think, if the first two in the class are of DGG and Robinson's level.

You’re right, I think it’s a stretch they’d take 3, but it just depends what happens. Do we get DGG? If so, I could see us just taking him and a smaller, jitterbug type back. If not, I could see a scenario where we take Barnes, Robinson, and maybe even a third.

Esp if we don’t land DGG, I could see a shake up with Sims which may lead to some attrition. Nothing is a given from year to year these days.
