Overall, yesterday was a disappointment. We thought we could play with the big boys, but we were sent back to the kids’ table. We just ran into a buzz saw of a defense that may be one of the better D’s the past few years in college ball.
But moving forward, we’re gonna kill Kentucky! Our D, even down a man, held the UGA run game in check, and all uk can do is run. They’re one dimensional and we got the guys to shut them down. Our O is gonna bounce back because that line was embarrassed and we know our guys will be hungry to erase yesterday’s performance.
Then we use the uk win as a springboard against Bama. They just played a tiring game against Ole Miss, will face uga next week (and win a close one), and then be emotionally tired for us. We get our program defining win because the oline blows giant holes for our backs to run through. Pruitt becomes the first assistant to defeat Saban and we are right back in the hunt for the east. Also, people stop talking about the 0-33 vs top 5 teams and we get the respect we deserve!
