With the new grades in for Goeas, Kendrick, and Smith, we are now ranked 16th nationally according to Rivals, 8th in the SEC, and for all the shmucks who have been worried about it - ahead of Vanderbilt.

What strikes me as odd is how high Texas A&M is. Maybe it was the right move for them breaking loose from the Longhorns and Big 12. I also assume Penn State will drop, not that it is not just obvious but even through this whole ordeal to be in top 25 with an unproven coach was impressive.

I shouldn't complain.......God did send us Phillips. I know everyone says don't get caught up in the stars, but why do all the successful teams get caught up in them? Your gonna have some busts and you need character, but you got to be an athlete to play in the SEC...period.

Not surprising to me. Recruits in Texas want to play in the SEC, and now they can stay in state to do it.

A&M is recruiting well but they're that high because of sheer numbers at this point. I don't think the new Rivals formula limits the amount of players counted at 20.
