Mouhon decommits

I just hope Weatherd and Bryant stick these last two weeks and both qualify. If they do then the Mouhon loss isn't a huge deal. I like Mouhon and felt he had a legit shot at being the 2nd team MLB next year behind AJ. I agree his ceiling isn't as high as JJ and Bryant but IMO he is probably more college ready to at least contribute his first year than JJ is and Bryant's grade situation will continue to worry me until his first day on campus and in pads.

Hate to see him go. My personal feeling (speculation) is that it was a combination of all or some of the following reasons: 1-Playing with his brother. 2-Lack of recent love from coaching staff. 3-A.J. returning 4-Jakob Johnson 5-Gavin Bryant 6. Does not like Cherrys.

Whatever the reason or reasons.....I wish him well. Has handled his business with class.

Just heard Wes Rucker say it was Mouhon's decision 100% but that the coaches "put up absolutely no fight" and let him go. Also, said that even though he was a pretty highly regarded 4 star, he was the least talented LB in this recruiting class.

Like this. I hate to see him go too, and I wish him the best. He seems like a nice kid.

End of the day, I don't think UGA or many other schools were agressively recruiting this kid. From what I have seen of film and watching him on TV, he is a steady player but not a game changer. Something UT lacks at LB. If JJ is impressing in workouts like they say, then it would make sense that the staff let other schools show him his best opportunities. Consider that Bates is already here. If Bryant qualifies and Weathered is all in, then this is really not a loss. With AJ returning, and one MLB already on campus (JJ) you don't need to invest a scholly unless it is a showstopper.

You know, I wish the kid all the best and I am not knocking him but when I watched him on a recent all-star game, he was a beast, but appeared a tad slow.(Run on sentence). In the end, it's best for both,

It seems like this happens every yr with our LB commits. I was hoping we would hold on to him because he looked pretty good to men

Props to Mouhon for publicly decommiting, as opposed to telling everyone he's coming here and then just signing elsewhere... ie Lambert. It's way better for everyone this way

don't let the door hit you. Now we have room for another V4L. Thomas is next to de commit , we'll add craig evans and one of the RB's. Everyone will be happy ... even mouhan , because he won't have to sit behind bryant and jakob johnson (who will eventually be called the germinator, like constantine Ritzman when he was good as a freshman)

This is how I feel as well. Good riddance.

Evans is now out of the plans it seems. Not visiting UT..... reported grade issues.

He said that he thought he would have a better opportunity elsewhere. Maybe he either saw the writing on the wall, was afraid of competition or just wants to be with his brother. If it's to be with his brother, I have no problem with that at all.
