that would be cool. i enjoy jamming to my tunes when playing games. it's easier when the game allows you to do it from the console.

WipeoutHD allows this. It's still a relatively new addition to the PS3 and has to be incoroporated by the game developer (which is slightly different than how it's pulled off on the 360). Added in the same update that added trophies.

It's just replacing the soundtrack of a game with whatever you sub in off your system. No changes to the online play. They wont hear your music, only you will. Just like on the 360.

No idea. I'm not the biggest fan of Wipeout but a buddy bought it and let me download it. Reviews were good and I figured I'll get around to looking at it sometime soon.

I just hope there's a bit more variety and less load time in Motorstorm 2. That's what killed the first game for me. After 2 or 3 hours, I was tired of what looked like the same course over and over and the awful load times.

if i bought a game, could i give it to a friend? i downloaded a classic castelvania game and wanted to put it on a memory card to transfer it to a friend but it wouldn't work.

yeah the load times in the first one were brutal. it's a good game once it get's going but it does suck to wait so long.

Yes. I believe you get 5 downloads per title. You have to give your friend your PSN log-in. They simply create a new account on their system and put your PSN email/password in for the store log in. Then, they open the store, go to 'Previous Downloads' or whatever it's called in the top righthand corner, and they can download whatever you've bought. (you probably have your CC info in your account, so just make sure you trust them. lots of people create a seperate account for buying stuff and do not store their CC and use that account for trading)

Sony actually endorsed this way of sharing games when the system launched. I have another buddy and we take turns buying stuff off there and then other person just grabs it.

I believe the big games are restricted from this (Warhawk, GT5P, presumably Burnout) but I'm not 100% sure. We've traded most everything else including Mega Man 9, Pain, Jeopardy, Blast Factor, Wipeout, etc.)
