I would hope that our players that suffered the worse season in UT history are certainly motivated to not let that happen again

They have already surpassed last season, even if they go winless the rest of the way 4-8 (1-7).

Which is more likely with this team?

1) Work extra hard to win at least 2 of the final 3 games. Suffer through a dozen more practices in preparation for a bottom tier bowl. Spend less time with family over the Christmas break.

2) Phone it in. Go home after your last final. Rest and heal. Wash this abysmal season from your mouth as soon as possible.

I hope it’s 1 but the Charlotte effort tells me 2.

I will take a bottom tier bowl. May even pull money together to go to one. Probably get great seats.

Knowing that it will take 2 games to make it to a bowl, is the team motivated enough to get it done? Will they see the benefits and rewards of making it a winnable season? If they don't take the next game, then the backs are against the wall and there is just no more room to give. I am hoping we can get all 3. Missouri and KY are going to be more than tough, especially KY after their loss. They had high hopes too.

I’ll say this, I know this defense will show up ready to play; all depends on whether the offensive line decides to grown some balls or not

Think about this, suppose a few guys decide they don't want to go to a bowl game this year and tank the next few games. This wouldn't be the first time that has happened. Some may not want the extra 15 practices. Just a thought. All these whiff blocks and pre-snap penalties sure do look suspicious to me.
