Who does everyone think is the most under appreciated player on the current team?

For me I'd say Josh Smith. He hardly ever gets mentioned but the kid is a baller. He made so many key plays last season, especially that TD in the UGA game. Also seems like he hardly ever drops a pass

I'd say Josh Malone. Kid takes a ton of criticism, but I thought he made great strides this year. Had some huge catches vs Georgia and Alabama in particular....was the one wr who got deep last season, had the 75 yard TD catch vs Kentucky. Was second in catches, yards, TDs, among tops in yards per catch. I look for an even bigger year from him this season.

Foreman is my pick also, what a big difference from where he started to where he is now.

Dylan Wiesman

edit. Wiesman started every game and made AP ALL SEC. I would say he's under appreciated.

Josh Dobbs. He gets hammered for his passing, but without him, we would have lost to GA. He put the team on his back that day. He gives his all.

Trevor Daniel should get a mention as well. I'll never forget this punt

I was going to say him, but I thought he was appreciated for the most part. I still gave a like though because he certainly was important.

All the kids doing the blocking and coverage on special teams!!!!!! Josh Smith a very close second.

Ethan Wolf. He was a forgotten man left to help block most of the time. He did have important catches down the seam in key situations. I think he will have a breakout 2016.

He was awesome....but he wasn't under appreciated at all. He got great recognition, and rightfully so, pretty much all season long.

Vereen...he stepped up big time in the absence of Maggitt and looked like the beast we saw glimpses of his freshman year.

seems like these threads always result in many people mentioning the one white WR that gets playing time

May have been true in the past but can't blame people this year when he was seemingly the only WR to catch any passes at all.

Pearson had 15 more catches, Malone had 8 more catches...even Kamara had 11 more. I'm a big Josh Smith fan, but I really only recall 2 big catches from him last year (vs Georgia and Alabama). His best game was vs Oklahoma...4 catches for 56 yds. Only Pearson and Malone had a 100 yd receiving games last season.

Kamara is the only player other than Smith that had memorable game/season changing catches this year. But since Kamara is RB not sure why you even bring him up when the conversation was about WR's.
And Josh Smith was most memorable because very possibly he single handidly saved the season and Butch's job with that miraculous 4th and 10 TD catch to trigger comeback against Georgia (that play is also the most likely reason Miami and UGA both have their current HC's :)).
