Lost all credibility with the Marlins being there for the State of Florida.

They aren’t even the most popular franchise in Miami
That is ridiculous and I am a Marlins fan...The Dolphins are the most popular football team and the Heat are a very close 2nd

I hate Florida, really I do, but the Marlins can't draw flies let alone the adoration of an entire state.

I’m sorry but I don’t agree with a lot of those. The Chargers over the Lakers? The Bills over the Yankees or Giants? The Astros over the Cowboys? The White Sox over the Cubs? Doesn’t seem very credible.
Exactly. And I would add special emphasis to the absurdity of suggesting the Astros are more popular than the Cowboys in Texas. No. Damn. Way.

I mean all Florida teams have somewhat fair weather fans, pro and college. So it's hard to get a gauge of who would be most popular.

According to travel and housing data. What is that?

Who knows? Whoever it is had a practical joker collecting the data.

Breaking News: Seattle has settled on a mascot for their NHL team. The Choppers.

I would actually guess the NY Yankees are the most popular team in Florida.

Omg, I’m cracking up on your list! I’m from Virginia and it certainly isn't the Nats. You nailed it! Although I’m not a fan of the nameless team either......

Agreed. I’ve lived in FL for 7 years now, albeit the gulf coast, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone wearing any Marlins gear ever. Same goes for car decals. Seems like it would break down between UF/FSU/Miami but there are a ton of pro teams in FL.

No way UM is getting Michigan. Too many MSU fans, so they would split the vote. If I had to pick a team that all Michiganders can universally get behind it would be a toss up between the Tigers or the Red Wings.
