Most overrated Vol

To go along with the other past Vols threads, tell me who, in your opinion, is the most overrated Vol. It could be of all time, it could be from a certain era, it could even be someone that never made a splash as a Vol, but was overrated as a HS recruit. Just specify.

I'll start us off....Eric Locke.

I think all those running backs of that time were overrated. Houston, Davis, Riggs, Tinsley, Larkins...The only reason any of them did anything was because they all got carries, so we always had a RB with fresh legs!

Yes, yes yes....made a big splash simply because he wasn't on anyone's scouting report. Could never follow it up, because it was a fluke to begin with.

I honestly thought Clausen was under rated.

Eric Locke, he never got a chance. I was teamates with him at Riverdale.

He was terrible. Of course it probably was because everytime they put him on the field he took a shotgun snap and ran the ball. It didn't take long for the competition to figure that out. I remember watching games with my dad and hating to see Locke coming out on the field, because we knew it was gonna be Eric Locke run for a 3 yard loss. I remember thinking he would be great. I was a freshman at Greenbrier when he was a senior at Riverdale. I always checked the scores in the Tennessean on Sat. morn, and saw his name featured every single week. Def. overrated.

Certain fans have always hated (and always will) Casey Clausen simply for not being named Peyton Manning. They would have hated Tee had we not won the BCS in 98.
