Most Important Game??

Would you consider Saturdays noon game the most important game of the year? IMO it for sure is. We are all (except the negavols, which I don't consider real people) riding high! So I could be different than others and of course I would love to beat them, but if we lose to Bama and GA its going to be considered a game we are "suppose" to lose. If we lose to LSU it ruins the momentum and brings us back to reality. This is why I consider this game so important. Most important of the year!! I think I saw where someone else already said it. This is going to be the game that decides if we are truly back or not.

In case yall are wondering we win 38-24. lol You're Welcome!!
I'll go with our next one, every week til 2023.

I say yes it’s the most important because we are still undefeated. The most important game will happen after our first loss how do they respond to defeat. Hopefully we don’t have to answer that question for a while still.

Agree with what many others have posted. We just won the most important game because overcoming that team is the next step to challenging UGA and Bama. We needed to go 8-4 and we’re virtually guaranteed that now. The remaining games apart from maybe UK are potential wins on house money.

The FL game was more important than LSU. The next most important game is Kentucky because, you just can't lose to them at home for a second time. AL/GA would obviously be the biggest win of the decade

I feel like LSU, UGA, and Bama are all games we can lose and still feel like the Heupel rebuild is on track. I think the top ten hype is a tad premature and I don’t think our defense is quite ready to challenge UGA for the East yet. I’m not complaining at all, we are way further ahead of schedule than I figured we’d be at this point so just trying to enjoy it!
100% agree. I figured it would have taken 3 full seasons to be at the point we are now even if we hired a good coach when cornbread was fired and everyone transferred out.

SEC-East games are more important than this. Beating LSU is great but it won't mean much if we can't handle the rest of our SEC East games.

This is a measuring stick game. If we are the 3rd best team in the conference we must win this game because #1 and #2 await. Let’s be #3! GBO!

Do you think ESPN and ABC will treat Tennessee like they've returned if they beat Alabama? I have a feeling they will be making excuses for why Alabama lost and not point out that Tennessee took the win.
Tsar’s Rules of Football. Number 17
Alabama has never been beaten in a football game. They always only “give the game away”

I can agree with one thing. I'd 100% rather beat Florida and lose to LSU than lose to Florida and beat LSU. I just feel like if we lose this game we are back to being in in the middle of the SEC instead in the top group. I'm not being negative by any means. I think we win and I think that we have taking strides to be in the top of the SEC. I was just asking a hypothetical question I guess. Maybe i'm just nervous lol. I do agree though Florida was another level of important.
Agree. I’d take UF win vs LSU loss. I think we win, and not to be a downer but if we happen to lose to LSU, Bama and UGA and win the rest we are still over preseason expectations. That being said I’m telling you Hooker has that Peyton in him, if you’ve seen him break down film…he’s a student of the game that he doesn’t get credit for, along with his ability and competitiveness. We win by 14+
