Who dissapointed you the most?

Who impressed you the most?

For me the most dissapointing would have to be Ryan Karl. He was no where last night and I dont think he made a single tackle. The most impressive was Taylor. He had to have close to 100 yards recieving. I was surprised about all the recievers, well all of them other than Briscoe. He should never see the field.

Disappointed: DLine, Hefney, Lincoln*

Impressed: Foster, Ainge, Berry

*I only put him there for that kickoff out of bounds. That's horrible. I notice they didn't have him handling the kickoffs late in the game... he redeemed himself by making that FG later in the game.

That was a big field goal for him.

He had over 100 yards....103 - very nice

impressive- Eric Ainge and eric berry

disappointing-whole D, but mainly our vaunted linebacking core

Most disappointing:

Rico McCoy- Talk about not doing much. He made that one nice tackle, but I saw him miss his fair share of tackles along with everyone else....and that was when he was actually around the ball.

John Chavis- I guess with the inexperience in the secondary he felt the need to drop the linebackers off of the line of scrimmage, but I don't think there was more than a 4 man, maybe 5 man rush until late in the 3rd quarter. Maybe once or twice.

Most Impressive:

Chris Brown- He's made a few plays before, but he showed drastic improvement if you ask me. His sure hands were nice to see.

Eric Berry- Not to continue the theme of kissing his arse, but the kid made his presence felt. He was everywhere when he was in the game and showed sure tackling for the most part. I'm excited to see what else is to come.

Disappointing: Linebackers and D-Line as a whole

Impressive: Foster, Ainge, and Berry*

*mainly because he is a freshman

Impressed: Ainge's leadership of the offense. Other than the lack of deep balls because of his pinky, he looked phenomenal.

Dissapointed: Defense. coming into the game, I was actually more confident in the defense than the offense. They get an F, no questions asked. D-line looks horrible, linebackers looked out of position, and the secondary was plagued with arm tackling that will simply not cut it. If this is not fixed, and fast, it is going to be a very, very long season.

Disappointed: our lines we cant stop and put pressure on the offense. Oline we still can open a hole to get a greased pig into the secondary. Lines make and break a team right now we are broken.

Impressed: Ainge with anyone else this game is a complete blowout

Noone has Hefney as a disappointment? Go back and watch the game again. He literally missed more tackles than he made and most of which ended up for big plays.

Ainge played well with a broke finger.
The DL is no better then last year, huge disappointment.

Eric berry was the jonathan hefney of this game. I have no idea what the hell happened to Hefney...good God

Hefney got caught up in his own talk. He was too busy trash talking and forgot to practice tackling.

Even as highly rated as Berry was out of HS, it is sad when a true freshman is outplaying your supposed Sr leader and All Conference player in the secondary.

Ainge impressed me a lot. So did Foster and Berry. I was very disappointed with the majority of the defensive team.

Why was Berry moved to Parrish's spot for most of the game? I was at the game and forgot to turn on Kesling till the 2nd half so I didn't get any word.

Was he just not able to keep up? And will it be a long term move to safety?

And I agree - on several plays I saw Hefney trash talking... his head wasn't in the game.

the word was berry would be moved to play some safety in the case of an emergency. He'd been practicing there some. Last night was the emergency.

True freshmen Berry had more tackles then UT's entire DL of 3 seniors and 1 junior.
