So far this looks promising....I dont know if it's this year or next but a reboot of Resident Evil is coming out also.

If only the Zelda rumors on Netflix had been true. Multiple story lines to choose from, great soundtrack ready to go, could have been epic.

This looks pretty good for what the property is, though.

There were 2-3 that weren't bad.

I liked Silent Hill. As far as horror movies go, it's better than most. The Tomb Raider movies also were decent as generic action movies.

Honestly, the original Mortal Kombat is still probably the best video game movie, as sad as that is.

It's ok but not great.

The beginning was good but so far present time feels corny.

100% agree. That first fight sequence was awesome. They never quite ramped it back it up to that intensity.

Mildly entertaining fight scenes. About half of the "main" characters had zero purpose in the movie other than they were characters in the video game. The Sub-Zero/Scorpion epic fight we were promised was super lame.

I did find the joke about the sweep being "the only move you know" to be a funny nod to gameplay.

They would have been better served making it similar to something like Jumanji or Gamer, where players get sucked into game and have to obey the ridiculous plot of the game to win. Because the plot to the actual game is a terrible plot for a movie.

I actually enjoyed Sonic. Took the kids to the theater to see it with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised by it.
