He does make a point though, in that a scholarship doesnt state that you give license for your likeness to be used throughout your life for profit.

it doesn't say what game but i would say it's probably one of the newer games he's talking about.

I know what game he is talking about, he is talking about NCAA 10 BB and the classic UCLA team on there. If he thinks that the player on that roster with his number looks like him, he is crazy. There is not one guy on the rosters for that game that even look remotely like their real life counterparts. Its a ridiculous claim that sounds like no more than a tremendous reach by a "never was" who is broke and is looking for a payout......which he isnt deserving of. The video footages that espn and others use are the properties of the NCAA and not the players. Its like when you watch a game on ESPN classic from the eighties or whenever, do you think that each player in that game gets a royalty from the airing of the game??? No, because it is property of the NCAA and its rights have been sold to ESPN.

NCAA Basketball 10 doesn't have classic teams. He's talking about NCAA 09 and/or CH 2K8.

I think its pretty well established that little unnamed virtual men with set default faces who happen to share a player's jersey number and skin tone don't count as "player likenesses." This case probably won't change any of that.
