Dave Hooker talking about how Kiffin's mouth had to be reigned in......a lot of his talk was for exposure, etc...

compared us to Vandy and KY. this year...not up to par with Bama and Fla.

Isn't it strange that once the local guys (Low, Hooker etc.) get on Sportscenter, they have nothing but negative things to say about UT?

BTW Hooker and Low should not be on television, period.

They are definitely not upbeat and positive.

Something about "off field issues" if i heard right in the opening preview. We will see, right now its all baseball :(

local guys just have no more access and are a little miffed. I think it's pretty funny and have since the day Kiffin made Adams identify himself in the first press conf

I rolled my eyes at the end when the anchor revealed that "according to section # under line # of the NCAA rules, coaches aren't allowed recruits to be filmed by media on campus," or something like that (There's a clip of Kiffin welcoming a recruit into his office in the segment). Then went on to say that ESPN questioned the school about it, and that UT is now reporting their 6th secondary violation. :banghead2:

I love how they take all of his comments out of context.

ESPECIALLY the "singing rocky top all night long after we beat Florida..."
The very next sentence reveals why he said that. "Mike made me say that haha".

Whatever. It's more publicity.

For those who can't catch it.

"Kiffin made a lot of friends and enemies after he took over"

They started with Kiffin's quotes, out of context of course. Then they showed the "they get out when we let em out" quote from the 360 special.

Asked Chris Low what the Vols need to work on in practice. QB was mentioned as well as WR. He said that the incoming freshman RBs will get play. Said that Berry is impressed with Brown thus far.

Andre says that he really likes Kiffin and his swagger. Likes the pressure he put on the team to back him up.

Gave an interview with Berry. Berry said that they are working hard to ensure that they can cover Kiffin's back. Berry said that they are shooting for at least 10 wins, and said that he's looking forward to the season. He said that he's very appreciative for the Heisman campaign.

Then they gave a bio of Eric Berry. Showing his impressive stats.

Settle on 1 QB
O Line stability
WR Health

They looked at the schedule. Andre said that we will go 7-5 and the other dude thinks we will go 8-4.

They probably mentioned the "Beat Florida" quote 5 times.
