Rumor with legs here in GA.
Gray "might" transfer to Valdosta State. That would leave the puppies with Mason as the backup this fall. Welcome to our world, the no real/proven QB world, UGA.

Yep. Heard that on a few radio stations today.

Lemay is better than Murray TODAY. Gray will be third on the chart next year.

Aaron Murray is a heck of a QB. He has nice touch on the ball, a good release, and is mobile. The downside to him is that he's about 6'0 tall.

This will get the move to Around the NCAA.

They're going to get Christian Lemay in all likelihood, so they aren't too worried with this news.

I am 5'10" and look eye to eye with him. He is not 6'. He is a "heck" of a QB. He is not elite.

I like our qb situation better, Bray has an incredible upside and simms has good leadership ability.

Lemay has nothing to do with this season. With Gray gone, I'm pretty sure it leaves them with only Murray and Mason. Not an ideal situation.

So I take it Murray won the starting job, then?

I HATE all these crybaby QB's these days that can't take one for the team and have all the loyalty of a mercenary.

You're right, it's not and I hope they struggle obviously. I just think as long as there are no injuries Murray is capable of being decent and he has a more solidified offensive line than we'll be running out there. I'd be licking my chops as a defensive coordinator if Mason somehow had to play, though.

Murray basically won it by default when Mettenburger was booted from the team. Richt has basically implied that Gray would be a returner. He'd be 3rd string at best

I think UGAs QB situation is worse than ours.....I don't understand how these QBs can just walk out on their teams. I get that they want to start but come on

I don't see their prdicament as worse than ours. They have one QB who has been in the system for a complete year. We don't. Plus UGA offensive line is far more experienced than ours.

I will hopefully feel differently next year when Bray has a year under his belt but we are awfully green right now

I would love to put on a jersey and sit on the sidelines the whole time. Imagine how great of a pickup line you would have."Yeah I play for the University of Tennessee football team." Bam! shes coming home with me.
