ESPN was talking about this again tonight. Talking about Fulmer being gone at the end of the year and Spurrier heading to K-Town. I think it must have been on fact or fiction. I wish it would all stop, I think it makes us look stupid(er). :moon2:

ESPN loves to hear themselves talk. If the news is low, they just make stuff up. The Spurrier junk probably originated with them. Idiots. (Except for Herbstreit)

He's said everything that can be said about Rocky Top, denied even knowing where Johnson City, TN is, and has finished ruining the Skins ( my favorite team, well they have to split that title with the Titans since they came to TN) so here's to you, you sorry SOS :furious3: "STAY AWAY" :D Go Vols

Another big and almost sensable rumour is Steve going to the Tarheels. But, many folks feel this would never happen since he did coach Duke.

And the hits keep on coming. We will know where he is going when the horse's *** speaks. Till then i wish all these media people would shut up but I guess they are trying to keep their job's

I think SOS was lucky to be at the instituiton he was at, during the time he was there. Obviously, he is not a success as an NFL coach and the at UF, he had access to the best high school players in the nation, all a half hours drive from campus. I think he was a unique fit for a unique situation and I doubt he would replicate his success at UT or UNC. Stay in Washington, Steve! Having JRS on staff is already 1 former UF coach too many at UT.

Do these romors make sense to anybody on any level?? I don't care how unhappy he is, I don't see how Spurrier could walk away from $5 million a year without being fired....much less take a mid level job like Clemson. I think he has too much money and likes to play golf too much to go back to a college job right away.

He may end up being fired. I think UNC could be a good fit for him. Lots of nice golf courses over there and he could still get drilled by FSU every year. Just like old times.
