Add to that their best WR Marcus Monk is having an MRI today on a severely injured knee and their program continues to crumble under Houston Nutt.

I didnt hear about that. If its major their already terrible passing attack just got a lot worse. It would be like the most terriblerest passing team in the country.

i did not know that about Monk........ouch.

the slow drum starts to beat for the head of Houston Nutt......and some time in December, the Razorback faithul will be satisfied, with a public deathmarch that lasted 3 months, when he is axed at season's end.

As if everyone didn't already know this, but Darren McFadden's mom came out Fri. night and said her son told her that "he'll be done in December." Most already knew he'd be going pro after this year but apparently his mom was the last to find out.

Could really care less what he does, but I just don't see him making the same impact he had his first two seasons. I just have a feeling he doesn't get over 1000 this year.

From all reports out here in Hogtown, you can expect to see A LOT of that "Wildcat" formation they used last year. They are not at all comfortable with Dick at QB and with Monk hobbling a little, I think McFadden will see a whole lot of time taking snaps.

I think the biggest question is the o-line. If they can open up a few holes, and it doesn't take a big one for those two backs, then he'll have a big year.

There's so many potential scandals around Ark that they don't really know which one will break first.

Nutt is apparently getting divorced and there are rumors about amateur videos...

The steroid thing is pretty serious especially since it possibly involves a trainer. One of their trainers was in trouble back in the 90's for giving a certian kind of pain killer to a kid that was depressed... he committed suicide.

There's a confusing mess about text messages and hate emails sent to Mustain along with other such stuff... and muffled rumblings about potential recruiting infractions.

... and worst of all, Casey Dick is still their best QB... if you don't count McFadden.

man, I live out in Hogtown and I haven't even heard of those rumors. I knew about the steroids deal with the trainer and all that, but had not heard about the Nutt getting divorced rumor, nor the amateur videos. Gets crazier by the day out here.

Have a friend here in MO that's a Hog fan. All this stuff has been on Hogville and other sites. I think the divorce was reported in the media. The videos thing is a rumor but who knows?

There's no doubt though that some fans are suing for info concerning text messaging and emails regarding Mustain and possibly other wrong doing.

i would tend to agree with you, but if Broyles has a say in the hiring of a new athletic director (which most think he will), then it wouldn't surprise me for the new AD to support Nutt because Broyles does. I think the future of Nutt lies in the hands of the new AD, whomever that will be.

OK... given Nutt's track record he'll pull out a big win to save his job this year. Lets make sure its not us.
