More Playing Time?????????

Is it me or does Coach Fulmer constantly say "we need to get them on the field" but come game time it's always the same ole players in the game.

For example:

Cottam, Stocker close: Tight ends Jeff Cottam and Luke Stocker are closer to making more of an impact in the passing game.
Through three games, Cottam has one catch for 4 yards: Stocker has yet to catch a pass.
"I'm really surprised they haven't had more catches - I'm sure it's our schedule," UT coach Phillip Fulmer said. "I would have thought that wouldn't have been the case."

Yeah, he always talks as if he isn't the one making the decisions. It's always a surprise or some other idiotic excuse. I don't think it's too difficult to figure out who is who. They DO wear different numbers and they DO play certain positions.

good thread, but i would have chosen to use others' playing time and the promising comments made by CPF to "put them on the field"......where in the h*** is MH, LC, GJ, LS, QH on offense alone?
