More NCAA news...

Problem is he was trying this stuff while at Ole Miss, but kept dodging the bullet. They've been waiting a long time to get him red-handed, and, unfortunately, it comes while he was working for us.

I'd really like to see the NCAA hit Ed Orgeron with a major violation sense this is something he's been known for doing in the past.... Although I don't think Tenn should get penaltized, I know we will. But it shouldn't be more than a secondary violation with us. This would be a first time offense for the our football program I would think.... But Orgeron on the other hand has been known to do these types of things in recent pasts and thus should be held more accountable I would "think". But I guess ya never know when it comes to the NCAA. Only time will tell.

Ed O is now D C? What happen to daddy Monte?:dance2:

Did you see USC's defense this past season???...Monte can say it wasn't his fault if he's not the DC....Ed O has the title to help him land a head coaching job or a bigtime job in the NFL...Monte still calls the shots

Orgeron won't be big time jobbing again. He's a shady to the point of sleazy uber-recruiter. Other than that, he's a moron.

It named Orgeron as USC's defensive coordinator. Is that true? I assumed that was Monte's gig. Shared title maybe?

The good news it that we are about to put it all behind us. Deal with the sanctions and move on. Bad hire. It's the Trustees' call as to whether dump MH since CBP messed up too.

I don't understand how they could punish the university for something kiffin and coaches did.

TN retained several of Kiffin's coaches. The bottom line is it all falls back on Hammy, if you don't want the NCAA snooping around then tack care of the problem yourself and cut ties.

What? Didn't you hear from some of our recruits last year he's "the best DL coach in America". I wonder where they got that idea?
