So I am on a layover in Los Angeles. I rarely ever turn on the TV but for some reason this morning I did. The first thing that struck me as I flipped thru the channels was that PMSNBC and CNN were represented, but Fox News was waaaaaay down the channel list. Somewhat surprising, but not really. So I turned on a local 'news' channel and there was a story about a local high school football team that started each game by running onto the field with both the American flag and the Thin Blue Line flag. Several years ago there was a school shooting at this particular high school and some off duty cops ran into the fray. So the kids want to show thanks and respect for those that ran towards the gunfire. But, it is the Peoples Democratic Republic of Kalifornia, so it is "controversial". Care to guess why? If you guessed that it represented white supremacy, give yourself a cigar. The ACLU is filing suit to stop the kids from doing this because some of the local Peoples are butthurt about it.
White Supremacy.
President Trump was right when he described some places as a **** hole. California certainly fits the bill
