We have proven we dont go shooting up the place in protest. The VA rally was peaceful as anything these days.

As far as the gun killings go one of my coworkers had someone shot and killed on his front porch. Wasnt he who did it.

At one of the Marta parking lots i used to use there was a shooting that had my car inside the "do not cross" line.

Leaving a manufacturer i was escorted out by armed security for my protection because the building had been shot up while i was inside. No one hurt on this one. But apparently it was a common enough occurrence where they had bullet resistant glass and concrete block installed. UL level 5. I didnt know about the shooting until way after when the cops where checking on everyone. Really weird to have the men in blue stop a meeting to ask if everyone is ok.

My uncle had an even closer experience where his work truck got shot about 5 minutes after he went inside at one of his calls early.

Most of my family dont live in a big city, theres about 60 of them. Only 1 has gone thru an experience any where close to what I described above. My uncle lives well outside the city limits for just that reason.

Because not a one of those stories illicits a strong reaction here in Atlanta. Freaks the eff out of my family though. I suppose one day it will do the same to me.

I had enough of Atlanta when I lived there over 30 years ago.

It's interesting to consider that now literally anyone has an excuse to wear a mask in public. I must admit for whatever reason I hadn't really thought of that until now.
