That's exactly why I'd rather not be in the top 10 at the start of the season, we play more focused when we have something to prove.

Anyone just hear the espn2 comment just made? In the USC game they said:

TN is the real deal. I think, if they can take care of business, they have the legitimate shot to at least get to the championship game against USC.

Just look back to 2002 Ohio State practically patented the art of winning ugly, but the bottom line is they took home an undisputed National Championship. And USC have a few scares last year to unranked teams, in the end it’s all about getting it done.

I agree I don't think people are giving UAB the credit they deserve. We did make some stupid mistakes, but I think we will regroup and come out with a winning season.

Yup. Arkansas anyone? What about how we played last year? Ole' Miss??? Take care of business, and win the games... with our schedule, no one can dispute that, no matter HOW we win. Did anyone watch ND tonight? Geez... what a hard schedule.

Agree. We'd play better with a chip on our shoulder. We played today like we were content with being #3. Well we won't be next week.
