Just announced, #2 WR, starting CB and starting tackle not playing in bowl game for Purdue. Things are looking better all the time. GBO.
Sounds good, but this is also a reason to cancel in their eyes. "Covid protocol" gets you out of everything
Me - "No thanks, honey. I can't go to your parents this weekend. Covid protocols"
I'm very concerned that the game won't happen, because of all this covid nonsense. I wish it was scheduled for today. Every day between now and kickoff makes it less likely that it will be played. Keeping my fingers crossed.
IMO, these mid & lower tier bowl games are truly becoming just exhibition games, w/ folks opting out.I'll never understand this line of thinking. Beating someone that's nowhere near their best means exactly what? If it's just a win hell let's move to the MAC. We can get all kinds there
Exactly why I didn't even consider looking for tickets. Guess you could always just make it a long get away trip or vacation, but at the prices the MCB was asking of the UT fan base....no thanks.I'm very concerned that the game won't happen, because of all this covid nonsense. I wish it was scheduled for today. Every day between now and kickoff makes it less likely that it will be played. Keeping my fingers crossed.
That hasn’t mattered with the other bowls, Memphis was the day before. Maybe it’s intentional hoping the fans will at least come to their city and spend money. If they want to cancel it, I imagine they need to do it pretty quickly. With the game being fairly early in the day Thursday, there'll be folks traveling maybe even as early as today and certainly tomorrow and Wednesday.
It’s a win, no one is going to look back at our record and see how many players were out those games, they’ll only look at wins and losses.I'll never understand this line of thinking. Beating someone that's nowhere near their best means exactly what? If it's just a win hell let's move to the MAC. We can get all kinds there
