This link says four players from the 08 signing class are sent packing. Not sure who or why but I know Phillip Pierre Louise is one of them. The receiver they were so high on last year till he blew his knee in the first game. If this holds true, it is unfortunate as they only have like 14 players left from what was a very "down" class to begin with. Tubberville dropped the ball on recruiting the last couple of seasons.

they do have, I think, 7 qb's on scholly however. good problem to have. a couple of them were state champions and all state. i wish we had that kind of depth at qb. now whether or not they have anyone to get the ball to.....that remains to be seen. I just hope we kick their butts this year in Knoxville. I am definitely going to be there for that one.....

Can any of those QBs catch the ball or block? I think we will be ok. Kind of tells you how crazy some recruits are and makes me unsure of Scroggins destination. These kids think they are all Superman and do not make logical choices. The whole small pond to big ocean analogy escapes them.

They do have some depth at that position, and some pretty talented depth in the younger guys, But the SEC is no place to start a Freshman QB. They also have a half decent o-line, but absolutely no depth at all. Malzahn will have his work cut out for him.

so i guess chizik is a terrible coach, has no control over the program, will have them on probation within 2 years, and should be fired before he coaches his first game

...right?
