I know that it has been stated numerous times that Byron Moore was recruited to be a cornerback.

I would imagine things have changed considerably with the latest news about JJ(best wishes to him in his trying time) and he will get a serious look at safety, should Jackson not return for the fall.

All these new kids coming to the secondary sure need to grow up quick if he doesn't make it back.

I'm sure Dooley had some idea this might happen, maybe thats why we signed 7 DB's this year. JMO! GBO!

Is Orta a safety or a cornerback? Also can someone please get Loften a tutor? Need him to make it in.

dooley said he's playing corner. If janzen isn't with us, look for either waggner to switch back to safety or randolph to start.

Randolph is our next big time hitter. I've heard he can just flat out knock someone out

Orta is a safety to go with Randolph and Loften. Moore and Lanier can play safety if necessary. Having Gordon/Teague available helps on one corner with Waggner holding down the other. We are fine and hopefully JJ will be back as expected.

Loften can start day one if he gets in at Safety and let Moore play corner.

Although with the way Moore reads the QB's eyes often, I think at times rolling coverage to Moore's side and allowing him to gamble some could pay off.

We don't need another meanie safety. We need a nice, considerate safety. According to NCAA rules, you apparently arent allowed to hit people hard anymore.

No offense to Wagner, but I really don't want him back there any more. Between Brewer and Lanier, or Loften (fingers crossed), we should actually be fine at safety.

Waggner was horrible at safety.

Look for Randolph or Lanier to take over if JJ can't get back on track.

Ant Anderson is another guy that could step in if he has a big spring.

I think we'll see Brewer and Lanier/Loften back at Safety.

sWaggner will stay at corner where he is much more of a play maker.

I think we'll be ok.

Where is Oliver going to play?

I agree that Loften would be pretty big for UT if he can get his act straight. I am not usually too hyped about Fr making an immediate impact but think he has that potential.

I believe he's a lot better at CB than safety.

The big picture is this......

Janzen will be back in time for summer work outs and fall camp. It makes no sense for him to transfer or any of that garbage. One more semester at UT and he is off to the NFL. So they have obviously found a loop hole that will allow him to sit out this semester and handle his "personal issues", and then return in time to play 13 more games and then head to the League!

If anyone is guiding this kid from his own camp, that's truly his best option!

#15 isn't done yet!
