Just wondering, but what do you guys know about him? I remember hearing Jamie Newberg saying he was the best player in Tennessee the year of Donta Hightower, Aaron Douglas, ..etc, but I really don't remember hearing much about him. I'm guessing he just redshirted or something?

i never saw him on rivals or anything. Does anyone have any videos/stats on this guy? Height and weight would be a start.

6'4" and weighed in at 312 when he got to Knoxville. They will get some of that off...

Ok, that makes more sense. Thanks. I'm hoping he comes in and contributes right away though, we need him.

Whoa!!! I knew he had gained some wait but geeez. I thought he was around 275 now. At 312, I hope they get some of that weight off.

Nice we need some big guys up there. Coach O said in the PC this morning we are a little thin in the middle.

I hear that he still has aways to go. The coaches are pushing him extra hard though. We will need him come fall.

Because Gordon probably won't qualify and will have to go to prep or JuCo, and Green isn't as flashy as NuKeese and he's not a homegrown guy like Teague.

After Williams, it's clear that we are thin on talent and experience at DT. QB, DT and WR are our three biggest areas of concern--and it's not good when qb and dt are your weak spots.

Montori played with my kid in hs in Murfreesboro, he was a beast on the d-line and played hard every down and made plays all over the field. He was a bit of a hot head but I think he has matured enough so it won't get him in trouble.

I'm from Nashville/Murfreesboro and saw him play a few times in H.S. Hughes was projected as a project when he signed. He has all the potential in the world. He just has to work at it and keep his mind on football. If he does, he'll be a very good player.
