Monte Kiffin, 68, is under contract to the Bucs, having signed a new extension just last year. He makes $2 million a year, the most of any coordinator in the NFL. (Tampa on line paper)

Will UT be able to match the $2 mil for Monte, to get him to leave TB?

He'll make about half for us but he's worth over 10 mil and just wants a chance to coach with his son.

If I were 68 and could make my sons career by coaching with him, screw money. You're right, money is not an object or obstacle, blood is thicker than water!

He just wants to coach with his son as said before and a pay cut is not a problem at all for him...YEE HAW!!!

UT should pay him about $1.5 mil per year, if he's giving up $2 mil to help his son coach UT. Lane will probably get close to $3 mil, so a $4.5 mil package is about right.

Anyone know if Muschamp's Contract has something in it about him being the highest paid DC in College Football? He might be sitting pretty twice because of UT. His first raise came the same day Tennessee interviewed him for HC (from what I heard), the second may come, if he has that in the fine print, because of Monte.
