Money Line USc

Any numbers out? I can't find any.

I say it's a pick'em
I've not seen anything like that yet but I suspect that it'll be a pick em or we may be a very small favorite. It's a tough opener but I think we have the talent advantage. Plus continuity in our offensive system. This is not the year to be introducing a new offensive coordinator

Just our history of starting slow is why I say a pick'em

I want to put money on the game but we’ve been too unpredictable. From losing to GaSt and BYU to beating a ranked Auburn team at home. Who knows what to expect? Lack of consistent qb play, no Cade Mays, and young wrs. Yet we were very good on defense, have an elite kicker, solid on both lines of scrimmage.

Edit: it took 3 tries to use the correct form of “too” in the first sentence

We have that's true. But I get the feeling that year number three is going to be the year that the defense jels and is all completely on Pruitt's page. every time I listen to the guy breakdown film or talk about plays etc, I always get the feeling that our defense hasn't truly known what to do when it's out there. But the last half of last season it seemed that they began to lock in more and more. with offseason film work and practice I have a feeling our veterans are going to be pretty sick on that side of the ball.
In fact in a yr 2 for Cheney in the offense, and I feel pretty good about our ability to perform well even in the opener.

One thing is for sure...there should be no excuse for vanilla play-calling or not showing your hand prior to big games. Every game is a must win for every team. Pruitt knows this upcoming recruiting class, and possibly his residency in Knoxville, hinge on not under performing coming out of the gate this year. Everyone will see exactly where they stack up in the SEC come year’s end.

If we lose to Sc, it won't look good at all for us this year. And yes every game is a must win.

Based on what I've seen the highest was us by 2.5.....Seen a couple 1.5 and also a pickem.

I saw somewhere we were a 2.5 favorite. That will change based on where the money goes and health of the teams coming out of camp.

I don’t know how SC’s personnel matches up, but you can be rest assured our coaching staff will be studying a lot of Colorado State film before September 26.

Colorado State seemed to be pretty anemic under Bobo. I don't fear his system. Of course it's more about execution than system. It's cliche but I think if we get at least average quarterback play and avoid stupid turnovers that we should win fairly comfortably

I agree. If Bobo’s offense was good he would probably still be there. They will, however, be looking for tendencies given certain situations.

Whoever ends up as our QB, their confidence level should be higher this year knowing the quality of our offensive line and the protection they will provide.

I remember Bobo underachieving with some talented Georgia teams not too long ago
