I saw the commercials - disgusting. I hate reality TV in general but this is a new low.

Agree with VBH. Shows like this make me lean towards the idea that America is finished.

The show is basically Jerry Springer with a cash prize at the end. It's awful

She admits to cheating
Then blows the next question and ends up winning nothing

yall are missing the point--watch the whole thing, and then look at what it was that tripped her up.

she ACTUALLY thought it would work to say that she was a good person. even after everything that she'd just told her husband, and the world. she TRIED to sell out her marriage for cash, and then got asked if she was a good person. and she SAID YES.

that, my friends, is "hooker logic" at it's finest.

I do agree that the show is crap--but that's possibly the most gut-wrenching 10 minutes of TV I've ever seen that didn't involve sports.

. . . and if actually think that was a good marriage BEFORE the show . . .

LOL!!! That shows you the kind of morality we have when a woman actually thinks she's a good person after all of this...

just think how brutal its going to be when someone gets past the $200,000 questions like she about did. I dont know how you could ask worse questions then that.

How...what...why...I don't even know where to begin. Something is wrong with the world. I'll leave it at that.

stupid show. but people dumb enough to go on there in the first place set themselves up for these kind of situations. that being said, that was really hard to watch.

also, one of the more disturbing parts of that 10 minutes was the audience cheering her on wanting her to answer more questions. some people don't care as long as they get their instant gratification.

you're right duckman. She says yes I cheated on my husband, the thing says she's telling the truth, the audience claps. Didn't you hear her audience? she cheated on her husband! sigh

bingo. my gf and i's conclusion was that they were getting a divorce anyway and figured "screw it let's make some money." she knew what questions were asked her beforehand. if she didn't want this out she could have just not gone on the show.

It says something about our society doesn't it. No one should feel pity for her. She went on that show for money, she came away empty handed because of her pride. She answered every question honestly when her husbands pride was at stake. When she answered a question about how she felt about herself she could not dig deep enough to admit she is not a good person. The point about hooker logic is true to a large extent.

Aside from the "trashiness" of the show, I just find the concept stupid. It was noted on here that her last question was "are you a good person". That is a subjective question, not necessarily a yes or no question. How can the game even begin to think you can catch someone in a "lie" on such a question?

If her husband didn't know for sure, at least he found out now and can move on with his life. Also, if she wasn't a cheating slut then it wouldn't have been a difficult set of questions to answer. I know I wouldn't have had a problem with any of them. Anyway it was classic that she lost on the good person question.

I can't disagree more. If you are asked the question( do you think you are a good person ) you know what the answer is! I would concede if it where phrased something like do you think you are a good person compared to _______ . That would be a different story.

Well I disagree with you even more. First of all, lie detector machines are not even regarded as highly reliable. Second, it is a completely subjective question. When the person was asked this question while strapped to the machine had they just come from running a red light and then right before they were asked the same question during the taping perhaps they had just helped a handicapped person out. It is not a certain yes or no question, emotions play a lot into those stupid machines. The whole show is moronic.

I agree the show is moronic 100%. Had it not been for the link I would never have watched it. However lie detectors are considered reliable (when an experienced technician is giving the tests) not reliable beyond a shadow of a doubt i will concede. She was not asked if she did anything good today or yesterday, she was asked if she was a good person. I would contend that any one with morals or standards would know the answer. (even if she had done terrible things in the past does not mean you can't change) If she has a distorted view of morals and standards then I guess it would be an item of contention. (Did not intend on giving myself a way out, thought process just took me there) Maybe you are right but only if her morals and standards are lacking.
