‘23 MO EDGE Samuel M’Pemba (UGA commit)

This guy is on a different level than both of them in terms being college ready. He has the size to contribute immediately. Bradley and Herring need to put on about 20-30 pounds each before they can contribute. M’Pemba is much closer to being SEC ready
Bradley is 6’5 around 230 right now… Not a great take. They are pretty close in comparison.

We don’t desperately need true freshmen to be major contributors though. Next year Josephs and Pearce will be sophomores. Bradley and Herring can learn and get in SEC shape. If we continue to stack that type of talent year on year we’ll be sitting pretty. Obviously adding a third guy like M’Pemba would add even more to that compounding effect, but it’s a “nice to have” at this point as opposed to a need. Would love to see us steal him from the Athenians. Sounds like the longer this one goes the better for us as it isn’t looking good atm.

I’m just going based on their 247 profile. Plus Bradley has a different build. If you do a google image search M’Pemba looks more like a LB than WR. A lot could changed since then, but Bradley and Herring have far more filling out to do

6.1

Main contenders: Georgia, LSU, Miami and Tennessee

Of the 2023 recruits out there knowing what they are looking for after making numerous campus visits, none are probably as well seasoned as M’Pemba. From shaking coaches’ hands and touring campuses and facilities, M’Pemba has seemingly seen them all. On Sept. 21, M’Pemba narrowed his scope of interest to four with official visits to be taken to Georgia, LSU, Miami and Tennessee. Of the four, M’Pemba took spring visits to Miami, Georgia and Tennessee with the Hurricanes hosting him again in late July. The Bulldogs got him on campus Sept. 10 for the Samford contest. UGA feels like the team to beat in this race.
