100% agree. Such a weird time and day to do the draft. I just feel like MLB can't get out of its own way sometimes. I really think its time for different leadership.

The biggest complaint that I have is their media rights. I've reluctantly caved into buying the Royals ( I know -- horrendous team this year) package through MLB.TV. for $100. I get so frustrated with how many blackouts I've experienced this year because their game is on Apple or Peacock. (Stepping down from my soapbox now).

I’m less annoyed with the time of day than I am the way they are bifurcating all the picks onto three different channels/networks. Peacock is a streaming service not network TV. Why would you at the very least just not do full coverage there instead of moving things around to different websites? It’s all very stupid.

Not sure how this will go. A friend's SIL is head scout for pitchers for a team. I jokingly told my friend to tell his SIL to stay away from Grindlinger and he commented that it is weak pitching wise this year. Hopefully we still get them.

All have been “as expected” thus far—zero surprises for the Vols staff. Now with slot values down around $1M, this is where it might get interesting as several teams have over slot $ available. Will someone offer over slot money for Koeninger or Grant?

Per Mike Wilson, he thinks Grant is asking for a big number, and MIGHT end up on campus. Of course, one team making a strong offer could negate that by meeting that number.
