Okay, we know that the same ol' teams always hang around the top of the standings of late, but if you had to pick, early in the season like this, which team would you say has the best chance to come out of nowhere and win it all this year?

Now, you can't just throw out a name. You have to explain why you picked the team you did.

I think it would be great if there was a true Cinderella story in baseball this year.

Twins is my cinderella pick. johan santana is the best pitcher in the majors right now, and c.c sabath is a very good player as well. There closer joe nathan is the best player in there bull pen and a very good closer.

with the hitting the get from tori hunter and jaques jones, this team has the ability to put up 5 runs a night, and the way there starters and bullpen pitches they would be hard to beat in a 7 game series.

Got to agree with 2345 - it's the Twins. Good pitching, good bats and the biggest home field advantage in all of baseball.
