MLB 12 The Show

So, after reading this thread and a few others from other sites I decided to pick this up. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but this game rocks. RTTS is very entertaining. It's worlds better than any other sport title single player career mode.

I'm not sure if it's common knowledge but I found a way to keep from getting traded in RTTS. Save and re-load right before you get traded. Navigate to User Settings>Gameplay>General. Then scroll down to "Injuries" and set it to "Manual". After that navigate to "Disabled List" and then "Manage Injuries". Scroll down to your RTTS player and give them a minor short term injury(3-5 days). Viola, no trade. Remember to turn injuries back on after you're past the trade.

What setting are you guys that are good at the game using? I'm using the default settings, Veteran I think, with timing bat/pulse pitching and I'm getting a lot better. I started off really bad as I wasn't used to the game, but now I can bat in the 400's with ease with a new RTTS player. Should I adjust sliders or up the level? Is there a website that has slider settings?

Patience is the key to good hitting...............in real life and in this game

I played for years in real life so I can understand that for sure. I'm getting better though I'm batting 372 in double A on my first basemen in road to the show through 13 games. How long til I'm moved up? Will I play a few seasons In the minors?

assuming no inuries or anything like that in AAA, i wouldn't expect a call up until around all star break, but depends on depth ahead of you too and i've seen them earlier than that too.

I am still with the BoSox... Played a few days back, and basically my guy is a ball killer now. I focus on all hitting attributes and just now switched to speed and base running.
