Mitch McConnell has fallen over inside a Senate office building.

The 83-year-old was being asked a question by a reporter when he lost his footing inside the basement of the Russell Senate Office Building on Thursday.

He has no business being in the Senate any longer. He’s way outlived his time in there.

I hope he is okay.
Every single Elected position should have an age limit.
Every. Single. Position.
We have people making life changing choices that they will never live to see.
Agreed. I think 70 is a nice round number.
If you will turn 70 during your term you should be ineligible to run.

not a fan of MMc, but legit concerned about his health right now and have been since those moments where he was "blanking out"

He should have resigned, retired, looked after his health and lived out the rest of his life in peace and comfort instead swimming around in the scum filled pond of DC politics.

He has resigned every leadership position and he is leaving office in 2026.

He is a big government traitor to actual Conservatives. He is so firmly bought and paid for by his donors, lobbyists, and his buddies that he hasn't given a damn about his voters or the American taxpayer for decades if ever. Mitch is the posterboy for the acronym RINO and has been an obstacle to those on the Right more often than an asset. Bill Clinton would be a more Conservative Republican right now than MM...which is shameful as someone who represents a voting base which is decidedly Conservative and Christian. He should have been primaried a couple decades and a hundred betrayal votes ago. Cannot stand him.

Some people are very sharp well into their 90's. Some people lose it in their 50's. We can do without arbitrary age maximums. If a politician's too infirm to serve then it's up to their constituents to replace them.

tie it to social security. whatever the age is for full benefits is the cut off age. that is a rule/age they set and control.

it would be fun watching them balance their own egos vs the political suicide of a SS age that is in the 80s.

Why? It's not illegal to work past the age for full benefits.

Dude has no business being in office and our government is a complete joke, held hostage by aging boomer voters who think the world will fall apart without their dementia-ridden reps and presidents.

Don’t need mandatory age limits, need to have mandatory debates and town halls where physical and mental short comings are exposed…hosted by nonpartisans so that nothing is covered up
