They beat the crap out of Vandy last night. I know its Vandy but that same Vandy team beat the crap out of us last year. If MO is for real and Vandy is still decent we gonna have a hard time getting 6 wins. If we play like we did in the second half last night we HAVE A CHANCE to beat anybody, but that is one-half out 6 games. I hope we can keep the momentum up and cut the gamecocks. But MO is scary.

Actually it is more likely that Vandy sucks again. Also do not think Ole Miss is very good either. Missouri is better.

Vandy was too busy worrying that their coach was on every major program's short list.

Mizzou is not a guaranteed win at all. They are going to be a very tough game. Right now, they would be favored.

Also, will be tough following the Bama game

I dont know if they are for real. Still can't really tell. They are def improved but Vandy is not the same team as last yr. not sure why OP said that.

They're still averaging the 8th best points per (at about 47 pts a game), with their lowest score being 38 (Toledo).

They've also got a player who's (at this point) in the top 6 in sacks (at 6.0...the team's 16th overall with 15), and have a thing for taking away the ball...they're second with 11 defensive picks on the year.

They're about 7th in total offense at this point.

Mizzou has played 5 not very good football teams. Candy is 0-3 in SEC play and just not as good as last year. They start their SEC schedule next week. Not everything is as it seems. But we can't discount anyone.

You will know more about Mizzou after they play UGA. That's the first real test. vandy is not the same.

Indiana's seems decent based off that Penn State game yesterday; but the rest of the their schedule has been no one.


Still though, last year in Columbia they lost to vandy 19-14.

Franklin was hurt that game and Zach Stacey bailed out candy. They were lucky to win.

Only thing this means is we are going to blow out Vandy on senior night like we're supposed to.

Let's look at who Mizzou has played so far:

Murray state: cupcake game
Toledo: Currently 3rd best team in the MAC west division.
Arkansas state: tied for first in the sun belt, but has a losing record.
Indiana: They look decent, but they haven't played much of anyone besides Penn state.
Candy: They look worse than they did last year. I doubt they will get 9 wins again.

In conclusion, I'm not sold on Mizzou yet.

Mizzou is legit. Or legit enough to beat us anyway. They have a great offense. DGB is unstoppable this year and Franklin is much improved from last year. Their defense is suspect however, but given that teams haven't been able to keep up in shootouts it hasn't hurt them much. It's going to be a tough matchup for our defense. Franklin is mobile and their receivers are experienced and very good. Our defense is better though so I think it can be a good game, but I certainly wouldn't discount them like so many have.

The way this team played against the pass last week is more the part that has me concerned.

With that same reasoning that would make us better than usce and LS since we played georgia alot tougher
