Coaching has had safety in the proper position twice and failed to make play both times with a pick. (Not talking hail mary to end half) Thoughts?

It amazes me that most other teams teach and we may teach it, but our db's don't look for the ball while it's on the air. Numerous times the ball could've been picked or defended.

The DL gives the qb way too much time. Deion sanders couldn’t stay on someone for 4-5 seconds.
