If he didnt start writing people he would have never been caught. He was so cocky in his police interview. I dont think he knew about DNA..because once they explained it to him he was like "Yep, I'm BTK".

Yes that was odd. I hinted somewhere else that maybe it was showing that he had signs of being a serial killer. Although I think I saw that the macdonald triad was debunked
